The Beachport Crayfish Festival

The 2024 Beachport Crayfish Festival will be held on the 2nd of March, 10am-10pm, at Beachport Centennial Park, in Beachport, South Australia.

Beachport is located on the Limestone Coast. You can learn more about the Limestone Coast Region and our wonderful tourist attractions on the Visit Limestone Coast website.

The Beachport Crayfish Festival is an opportunity for the community to come together, and to introduce the many tourists who visit our lovely town and stunning coastline to everything crayfish.

Accommodation options in and around Beachport

There are two caravan parks, one motel, and lots of short term rentals in the idyllic town of Beachport. During the weekend of the Crayfish Festival accomodation does tend to sell out fast, so book early. There is also a caravan park in the small tourist town of South End, just a 15 minute drive at the opposite end of Rivoli Bay.

Accommodation options in and around Robe

The busier seaside tourist town of Robe is just a 30 minute drive north of Beachport and has lots of accommodation options available.

Accommodation options in and around Millicent

The commercial hub of Millicent is located just a 25 minutes from Beachport. There are two caravan parks, two hotels and two motels available in town. Millicent is not far from the Mayura Station Tasting Room – if you’re a foodie, this is worth checking out. Be sure to book well in advance!

If you are are interested in combining the crayfish festival with a trip to some local wineries, you may want to consider booking accommodation in Penola and the world-renowned Coonawarra Wine Region.

What about transportation?

The private driver service Ride For You will be basing themselves in and operating out of Beachport for the day.

They will be providing both short trips (i.e. Muggleton, South End) and longer rides (i.e. Millicent, Robe, etc.).

We anticipate that they will be busy, particularly during the evening, so book in advance to avoid disappointment. Call 0439 300 100.
